Welcome to the comprehensive guide for FaceMatch Studio. In this article, we'll walk you through the exact steps to leverage our desktop software for an automated, AI-powered live photo delivery workflow.
1. Create and Select an Event
When you open FaceMatch Studio, the first step is to create a new event. Simply click on "Create Event", fill in the details like the event name and date, and save. Once created, select your event from the dashboard to enter the event workspace.
2. Choose a Watch Folder
Inside your event workspace, click on "Select Folder". This is the folder that FaceMatch Studio will monitor for new photos. You have a few flexible options on how photos arrive here:
- FTP/Wi-Fi Uploads: Connect your camera directly via FTP to upload straight to this folder.
- Tethering Software: Use Lightroom, Capture One, EOS Utility, or any other camera software that saves captured images to a selected folder.
- Manual Drop: Simply drag and drop or copy all your photos into this folder at any time.
3. Start Processing
Once your folder is selected and your photos are ready or about to come in, start the processing. FaceMatch Studio will begin processing images instantly as they hit the folder. You will see real-time stats on your screen, including the number of photos processed, faces detected, and sync status.
4. Share the QR Code
Your clients need a way to access these photos. Click on the "QR Code" button to generate your event's unique link. You can display this QR code on a tablet, print it on cards, or project it at the venue.
5. Search with a Selfie
When guests scan the QR code, they are taken to the guest portal. All they have to do is upload a quick selfie. Our AI instantly searches the entire event and presents them with a personalized gallery containing only the photos they appear in. It's magic!
